Well what a change in the weather! I sat in it on Thursday for two hours and my legs got burnt, they are only now starting to stop tingerling!!!!My own fault I know. Yesterday I went to the Create and Crop and managed to finish 4 layouts that I'd started awhile ago and I also started and completed 2 layouts using old Crate Paper papers, which I must say I was quite pleased with the results...........see pics they are the doilee shaped ones.
Also going to let you see the layouts I've come up with using My Minds Eye papers for the Bramford crops July kit of the month. I've used the Tim Holtz Rosette die to create embellishments.
I'm chilling today, well partly. 3 machine loads of washing to do as DS2, Tim came home from his two week holiday to Turkey yesterday, he had a great time, back to work with a bump on Monday.!
talking of work it's my weekend in, so I'll be off to do my 12 hour wake night shift tonight.........hope it's as good as Friday night, no hick-ups, no one falling during the night......
Got lots to do this coming week, a mountain of ironing for a start, the Bramford monthly crop challenge which is a frame from Nancy, two shadow memory boxes, a card order to finish amongst the normal boring stuff of housework and cooking. It's the June Bramford crop this coming Saturday and the Jubilee bank holiday weekend. The only things I have planned are cropping on Saturday and to do a car boot sale on Monday, just hope the lovely weather continues.
Well jobs to do. Hope you have a great week.

Spring Cleaning
Well I ache from head to toe! I've gone spring cleaning mad in two teenagers bedrooms!!!!! It all started early hours Tuesday morning. I couldn't sleep so got up at 1.15am Tuesday morning and took my DS2 bed apart ready to take to the local dump on Tuesday morning, it did the trick cos when I did go back to bed it didn't take me long to go to sleep.LOL Anyway DS2 is away on his hols in Turkey for two weeks and has been on about a new bed, so while the cats away mum cleans out his bedroom.............just hope the new bed turns up before he gets back from his hols, we be handy if I ordered it. Anyway Tuesday was spent sorting out his bedroom and then I moved onto sorting out part of the loft. I've also had curtains down and washed, put new ones up in my craft room.( my mum gave me them ages ago). Last night I started on DD bedroom as I've decided to get rid of her wardrobe(going to hospice shop) and go back to using the built-in cupboard as the wardrobe...........firstly though I had to paint it out which I've done today. After a hard days grafting I've finished DD bedroom, looks so much cleaner, tidier and bigger. I've now got a load of stuff( a good car load) to do a car boot sale over the bank holiday weekend. I feel rather pleased with myself as I've got loads done, DS bedroom still look a bit of a tip, but over the coming days I hope to remedy that.
Tomorrow I hope to get something sorted as I'm scrapbooking at Papermaze on Saturday, which I'm looking forward to. Missed last months crop as I was at Ally Pally.
I'm at work tonight and tomorrow night doing sleep-ins..............that's a joke as I never get much sleep.
Well hope you all have a good weekend, at least the weather has cheered up!

Bramford Crop day tomorrow
Well the bank holiday weekend is upon us and sadly it looks like it's going to be a wash out as far as the weather goes..........as far as crafting goes it looks like it's going to be a good one. Tomorrow is the monthly Bramford crop that I run. We're on for a full house with approx 35 of us scrapping and cardmaking. It's also the May NSD crop so lots of free prize draws going on throughout the day. As the crop is an extended one running from 9am-8pm I actually hope to get some scrapping done come the afternoon and evening, my stash is packed ready, so I'm hopeful!
I haven't managed to do any crafting this week, mainly cos I've been doing that Diplomia.............my poor brain is wondering what's going on.LOL I've about 6 layouts that need finishing off with titles and journalling so that's one of my tasks for next week.
Well I hope you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend.
